Migration Du Biodôme
Project Description
Launched to coincide with Montreal’s 375th anniversary, the Biodôme Migration project was an international architecture competition that aimed to renew the existing Biodôme’s scenography and wildlife habitats.
Our concept, developed in tandem with AZPML and KANVA, was inspired in part by living organisms and cellular biology. The brand new exhibits prioritize interactive experiences above all else, engaging with the visitors and architecture alike.
To achieve this, curved projection surface were deployed throughout the different ecosystems, displaying informative data and animations.
Finally, a network of suspended bridges and a café overlooking the subarctic habitat give museum patrons a new, unexpected perspective on familiar subjects.
In collaboration with AZPML and KANVA for all the project's phases.
