Anna Devis & Daniel Rueda are a creative duo of photographers from Valencia Spain, both with a background in architecture. Being architects help them create stories through playful and fun images using minimal and geometric architecture combined with ingenuity, humor and precision.
Being always on the lookout for the most eccentric building facades around the world, the Spanish photographers produce unconventional and unique architecture photography. They don’t consider themselves as architecture photographers, but they rather prefer to convey an idea or a concept through a visual image, so an idea is born then they seek for the best space that matches it perfectly to create it visually.
Anna Devis had the honor last March 2019 of becoming Hasselblad Heroine.
Started off on March 8th 2019, on International Women’s Day, Hasselblad Heroines celebrate the work of female photographers around the globe.
The duo’s distinctive talent open the opportunities to work with international popular brands such as Facebook, Netflix, Coca-Cola and Disney, among many others. They juggle personal artworks with commercial projects which they prefer the most. Collaborating with different brands allow them to freely brainstorm with the client that some of their top designs have come to life. Furthermore, their work was featured in festival posters, book covers as well as countless international magazines such as Surface Mag, The New York Times Style, Marie Claire, Glamor and El País.
Challenged by everything and anything, they endlessly envision different visual stories with no borderline or frontier.
